Terrified of all things creepy crawly, Clark is over-the-moon with joy when he finds out he’s leaving the fanged and clawed critters of the Nevada desert behind for the lush green hills of New Zealand.

His new home is everything he’d dreamed of – breathtakingly beautiful views, super friendly people and delicious food.

Yet he can’t seem to shake this feeling of dread. A feeling that seems to bubble to the surface whenever he’s in the presence of the dark and ominous Waitakere mountains to the west. Mountains that cast a dark shadow across his neighborhood. Mountains that are home to the last remaining Henderson Huntsman spiders – monstrosities known for their size and aggression.
